HOW ANGRY THIS MAKES ME! :evil: James Sullivan, 77, was severely beaten during a home invasion Friday morning in Selma. Police have arrested Valarie Farmer (below) on assault and robbery charges. A second assailant remains at large.
I know! The poor man had just finished and breathing treatment and was on oxygen. I believe his kids should get some "quality time" alone with the jerks who did this to him.
I believe there are certain cases where there shouldn't be a trial, this is one of them. They don't just need to be IN jail, they need to be UNDER the jail. Good Lord! What a pathetic excuse for a human being to do such a thing to a 77 year old man. :evil: :evil: :evil:

Scares the crap out of me when i hear these kind of things. My Mom lives alone (she won't have it any other way), but i worry so much since she is in VA and i am down here. Granted, though she may be in her late 70's and still looks and acts like someone in their early 60's, you just never know with all the psychos out there.
I think I remember the story from several years ago when that same man was attacked. Its certainly a shame when you're not safe in your own home. For some reason, however it makes me wonder if he is making himself more of a target. His age certainly is a case for that and if he lives by himself, that does too. Also, some people (maybe not this gentleman) tend to sometimes talk too much about their finances out in public. Tell one friend you've got something worth taking, and it might just get around to the wrong folks. Doing something like this to the elderly or children should automatically get the offender and those who participate maximum terms available automatically.
