Who decided that it would be a good idea to take away an hour of my sleep last night? I want it back!
Sadly, I am no longer able to tell if you are serious or not unless you use a smiley in each and every post.
I think they just need to settle on something and let it be. I was talking to a friend of mine and we decided we needed to go back 1/2 hour and then we just need to leave it alone and not change time again! We figured this was a compromise for the beginning and ending of Daylight savings time.
dear customer we are sorry you were unhappy with your selection of Daylight Savings Time. we are happy to return to you your hour. please allow 7 to 8 months for delivery... signed, the government
Yeah.. but it had been the same weekend each year for a bazillion years, and then the Bush admin. goes and moves it around... I never know what weekend its on anymore. I agree, I want my hour back too! :?
DAng! if I had every hours I have lost overthe years to this "Spring ahead" junk I could get a good solid rest. on the flip side.... if someone would throw a really good party for a few days....I could give ya back the hours I spent sleeping in the fall. Just goes to show you , we just can't win.
My sleep has been so jacked up also. I woke up Monday morning, the clock said (almost) 8 and I immediately began to have a panic attack. Is it REALLY 8? Did I change the clocks? Could it be 9??? :banghead: FREAK OUT! Anyway it was really 8, and I HAD changed the stupid clocks.
i hate the time change, i am definitely not a morning person and losing an hour tears me up - seems like it used to be just half the year and now it is 3/4:twisted:
LOL! I did that a few weeks ago - I woke up thought it was Mon, realized dd wasn't up yet (I know she HATES it when she doesn't have time to shower before school) so I go in her room and wake her up and she looks at me for a minute - then MOOOOM - its Sunday, not Monday! I felt so bad!
Those of you that were talking about missing a day reminds me of that commercial for Windex where the mom wakes the boys up and they think they are going to be late for school, so they are standing outside "waiting for the bus" and the one crow says to the other, "Wonder how long she is going to let them stand out there before she tells them it is Saturday"
