I am looking for something a group of girl friends and I can do one night around the Clayton/Garner/Raleigh area. Something fun and interesting but not too pricey. Any ideas?
bowling, shopping, dinner and drinks then shopping, dinner and drinks then manicures and pedicures, comedy club in clayton after dinner and drinks somewhere else (they say the food is not so great).
PG rated? I"m out! (just messin') try this... www.meetup.com type in your location as 4042 A friend of mine in the community has put together a meet up site for Jo. Co. She has planned events. Rush Hour is coming up as well as a Draft House event. She's cool people.
I can't get my verification email from meetup!!! I've already cried to her about it....LOL....one day I'll join!
I'll give you an example: 3 girls and I got tickets to Charlie Goodnights, got a room at the Brownstone (79.00 for purchasing CG tickets), took a cab, ate at The Grill @ CG, saw show @ CG, went to City Limits behind CG. We had a blast. 4 Charlie Goodnights Tickets: 102.00 Dinner @ The Grill for 4: 200.00 Many, Many Cocktails: Can't Remember Cab Fare both ways: 11.00 Almost getting kicked out of hotel room @ 3:00 am: PRICELESS
Ari - we always do the same old movie and dinner, sometimes mani/pedi, or shopping. Once a couple months ago we wanted something different and went to Crazy Glaze in Fuquay, and loved it! We were the only ones in there, and you just pick something that's been made, then you paint it and they "glaze" it for you. It was cheap, I think the whole thing was about $20, and took a couple hours. And the nice thing is, you get something to take home with you!
There's a place over by Clayton Walmart called Pottery Camp that is similar. My DD went to a birthday party there, but I saw a few individuals come in a work on pieces as well. Price depends on the size of the piece you pick.
Ladies Night Out I do ladies (only) parties if you're ever interested. Another option is the new LOL Comedy place out on east 70. It's inexpensive and a lot of fun! Pam
