Okay, I have one of my childrens' caretakers in Russia who teaches English over there. They are now studying Christmas and American traditions and such. I know there are a few websites. I want one that tells of how Santa Claus got started here. I'm telling her a little of how each family has their own little Christmas traditions and how Americans will decorate their houses and such. She is going to be having a Christmas Party for the students at her institute over there. They'd love to sing some Christmas songs as well. Rudolf, Jingle bells and stuff like that would be good. Love to find a site that has poinsettias and amaryllis. I'm telling her about some of the things our family does but want a variety. How families get together, etc. We are leaving an impression on many and I don't want any inaccurate information going across. Hope all this made sense. So, if any of you know of any websites, do let me know. I know there out there just can't find exactly what I'm looking for to send to her. This is going to be many Russians soaking up information on Amercian traditions and culture regarding Christmas. Thanks in advance for any help you all can give me.

    Take care,

Lapbooks are fun unit-type resources for children to make. Here are a few than might fit your need. They do cost $ but everything is all planned. They can be downloaded so no waiting for mailing.
