    Hi,
I am trying to help a friend find a lawyer who will take his case pro-bono. This story is sad and unbelievable. It's a long story but I will make it as short as possible. This person(my friend) had his SS card stolen by his brother a while back. The brother racked up some charges, DWI and a few other charges. He got caught and supposedly hired a lawyer to clear his brothers driving record. My friend was working with his brother and he left that job and set out to find a new one. Since April of this year he has been turned down for many jobs and finally found out why. He went to the sheriffs dept and ran a criminal check and there are numerous charges in his name which he did not do. He is working with SBI to investigate who was involved in these crimes. As of yet, we do not know if his brother is involved yet again. The kicker is, his wife is disabled and has been trying to get disability for the last 3 years and is still waiting. They are close to losing their home, vehicle, everything they own. This is so unfair. He has no money but desperately needs some council to help him clear his name. Does anyone know of an attorney who may be interested in helping these people out?
    Thanks so much!

Sorry I don't have any suggestions, but I wanted to wish your friend good luck. I hope he is able to work this out.

He needs to go the the website NClawyers.com or better yet www.legalmatch.com which will ask you to ask questions, explain the situation and they will match you with a lawyer for that specific issue. At least this is going in the right direction.
    Good luck.
