Cleveland Heights, Ohio. haha - made ya look Teen, mom allegedly kidnap snake CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- An Ohio mother and son were charged with stealing a snake from a pet shop after they returned to the store the next day to buy a book on its care. Employees at Petland in Cleveland Heights alleged the brazen pair even went to the cage that had housed the baby red-tail boa constrictor and asked what kind of snake had been in there. They were even wearing the same clothes they had during the alleged snake-napping, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reported. A surveillance video from the store shows the 15-year-old boy wrapping the snake around his neck, hiding it under his jacket and walking out, officials allege. The snake was priced at $300. The mother allegedly acted as lookout for her son. Sebrina Hill was charged with theft. Her son was booked as a juvenile and released in the custody of relatives. Police said they found the snake at Hill's home. Petland employees applauded when the snake was returned.
