LOL! You know what's funny? I called my mom and sister to tell them about that ad I saw. Our house was on Bayview drive at Harkers Island.
My mom and dad had a house there when I was in HS. Bought it for like $35K and NOW you don't even want to know what it's worth. They sold it years and years ago.

    Harkers Island - great memories

As a kid I used to go to Harkers Island every year for the wild pony roundup on a island close to Harkers Island. We would get on her uncles boat in Harkers Island ealry in the morning and ride over to the area. Spend the day watching the annual roundup of the ponies. Only bad part was the mosquitos would just about carry me away getting from his house to his boat. Great memories of growing up as a kid in the '40's.

My cousin moved his family there about 8 years ago or so. He was so smart to do that, he is probably sitting on a gold mine now!

You know what they say about hindsight. If only foresight was as good.

    Folks,
    the accent has changed....
It's no longer the Down East "Moy Looord Hunnney".....

It now sounds more Yankeefied..." How ya doon?"
