every time i drive by his place his gas averages .05-.10+ higher than the bp up on 4042 and the hugo chavez on 42? heck the other day he was almost .20 more expensive than bj's. i know he cannot compete with bj's but come on .20?
Yes, he is always about 10 cents or more higher than the area, and I guess he can take advantage of it because he is the only one around for a couple of miles. I only gas up there if it is an emergency. He is too too too EXPENSIVE.
WS, I figure by the time I drive all the way up to 4042 or even shoot over to 319 I've wasted my .10 savings. I fill up at Wells. I personally like doing buisness with "local" business owners. JMHO.:mrgreen:
Sometimes it is worth paying a little extra not to have to deal with the traffic on 42 but rarely do i fill up there, i will get enough to get me around and then find it cheaper elsewhere. Love doing the local business thing but with the cost of gas gotta take care of the bottom line.

DR Wells Emporium I buy my gas at a discount gas station (Murphry @ Wally World, BJ's, etc) and use my savings to purchase rib eye steaks at DR Wells Emporium. Can't beat his meats!
