High School Student Charged With Drug Trafficking -
    Johnston
County drug agents want to know if a West Johnston High student was selling cocaine on school grounds. Robert Daniel Elliott is described as a good student making good grades at his school. Authorities said the 16-year-olds mother called deputies Friday night after finding suspicious white powder in his bedroom. Officers said they seized two ounces of cocaine, with a street value of $2,400, from his room. Tammy Amaon, a spokesperson for the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office, said narcotics agents are still trying to determine why the teenager had such a large quantity of drugs in his bedroom, and whether he might have been selling the drugs at school, or possibly keeping the cocaine for someone else. Elliot was charged with two counts of trafficking cocaine and one count of maintaining a dwelling to keep a controlled substance. He was jailed under a $100,000 bond. http://www.1270wmpm.com/wmpm_local_news.htm

It is a shame . If that was my child I would let him sit in that jail with out paying his bond to many parents bail their kids out to quick and they learn no lessons and are out doing the same things cause mommy and daddy pay their way outta things.

I doubt the mother will bail him out immediately.

The mother is one smart and responsible parent as far as I am concerned. It takes a special mother to call athorities in a situation like this.
