The 4042.com game coders have been slaving over a hot PC and tell me that our newest challenge is about ready to be launched! We are doing final testing and should have it ready for 4042'ers to play.....very soon. 8)

I clicked the "start" button after it seemed to load ok, but nothing happened after that.

I could get into the game fine - but didn't know how to play? Although I had a high score! :)

Try clicking on the "start" button twice. A quirk in some browsers that occurs with Flash and sometimes Java as well. The first click selects it, the second actually causes it to work. Hope that helps! 8)

Basically you play five rounds with the goal being to have your ring (the red one) land as close to the center target each time. The closer you are to the center, the more points you score per round.

You control your ring with the mouse by selecting in what direction it will be released, and how "strong" you will toss it. The strength is determined by the color indicator in your ring "pointer." More color, a harder toss. You adjust the strength by using your mouse to slide the indicator from front to back of the pointer.

Each of your other (3) opponents are doing the same thing....picking what direction they are going to toss their ring, and how hard they will throw. In the 10 seconds you have before the "throw", you try to determine how the other rings will fly and bounce and set your own strength and direction to put your ring in the center.

Give it a try...after a few rounds you'll have the hang of it! 8)
