Ok folks. I just heard on the news that there is another new Bond movie coming out next year called "Skyfallen" with Daniel Craig.

So tell me who is your favorite James Bond actor

 

I have always liked Sir Sean but Daniel Craig is giving him a run for the money.

Brosnan wasn't bad, the material was iffy though

I HATE Roger Moore!! His Bond films should have been comedies.

 

I have to agree with you. I always liked Sean but Daniel Craig is doing a real good job. And Roger Moore's Bond was always to campy kind of like the TV version of Batman campy.

 

Connery all the way.

My favorite lines:

Girl with amazing decolletage: "Hi. I'm Plenty!"

Bond, after a glance at her ample cleavage: "Well of course you are."

Girl: "Plenty O'Toole."

Bond: "Named after your father, are you?"

Splendid!

Perhaps because Connery owned the role so completely that the question becomes a non sequitur?

It's amazing he was able to continue in his career after Bond, although one could easily claim that he never really stopped playing that character.

Though he wasn't a Sean Connery (Bond) bad guy I did like Christopher Walken. He's a great actor, when ever I see him I get the creeps from watching him.

 

Best Sean Connery line..Diamonds are Forever...Bond escorts the body with the jewels and is picked up by the Mob guys...Bond is asked who the dead guy was. Bond replies, "My brother." Dumb mob guy says, "I had a brudder once". Bond response, "Small world."

Of course, the Mob leader after tossing Plenty O' Toole out the window into the pool...Bond,"Nice shot!"...bad guy, "I didn't know dere was a pool down dere."

Roger Moore was a nancy boy, Mama's boy in the role...I refuse to watch a Roger Moore bond movie.

 

for me one of my favorite Bond lines came from "On Her Majesty's Secret Service "
George Lazenby only played Bond once but I loved this line:

[a bad guy chasing Bond skis into a snow blower, which then spews red snow]
James Bond: He had a lot of guts.

But then again I also have a thing for Diana Rigg who is in that movie

 

For me Roger is and always will be the best!

 

I figured I would bring this one back up since the release of the movie "Skyfall". I want to go see it. It looks pretty good. I am curious did they start adding his gismos back?


Of course I like Sean but Daniel Craig does a really good job as Bond, James Bond.

And I actually like Dame Judith Olivia Dench as "M"

 

It is a very good Bond movie, but not as good as Craig's Casino Royale. This one is very heavy on Dame Judy Dench, but not so much on modern gismos. I say modern to not spoil the surprise. Go see it, you'll be glad you did.

My one gripe: not heavy enough on the 'Bond' women. It has one and he is attractive, but her moment is fleeting.

 

Also no surprising gizmos, but a return of some oldies and goodies!

 

Skyfall was good. Javier Bardem gives a villain performance up there with the likes of Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger in the Batman films. Pretty brilliant. But Daniel Craig looked much older and worn out (which was part of the storyline, I know) in this one. He was sexier in Casino Royale. 8)

 

OddJob will always be my favorite Bond Villain, but he only came in 4th in this ranking
