Johnston County Arts Council Holds Silent Auction in Conjunction with 35th Anniversary Celebration The Johnston County Arts Council is currently holding a silent auction offering many one-of-a-kind items. Bids are being taken at this time and the auction will end on Thursday, March 22nd, the evening of Johnston County Arts Council’s 35th Anniversary Celebration, held in the Great Hall of Johnston Community College in Smithfield. The items available for bidding are: · 8 X 10 photo signed by Mike Kryzyewski, coach of Duke University men’s basketball team · 8 X 10 photo signed by Philip Rivers of the San Diego Chargers (pictured in a North Carolina State University football uniform) · Full size UNC logo basketball signed by Roy Williams, coach of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill men’s basketball team · Carolina Hurricanes jersey signed by the entire 2006-2007 Carolina Hurricanes team · Carolina Panthers logo football signed by the 2006 Carolina Panthers team · Oil Painting by local artist, Lee Mims · Watercolor print by local artist, Ramona Cash · Acrylic painting by local artist, Gail O’Neil · Oil painting by local artist, Doug Strickland · Dinner for two at Prime Only, a fine dining restaurant located in the Power District, Downtown Raleigh All items are available for viewing at the Johnston County Arts Council’s office, 231 East Second Street, Downtown Clayton 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday.
