Congressman Bob Etheridge Visits Selma Middle AVID Students

Congressman Bob Etheridge spent time with the Selma Middle School AVID students. Congressman Etheridge shared what he was doing on behalf of education. He highlighted his efforts on legislation that will make it easier for school systems to build needed facilities and for students to get student loans to go to college. Congressman Etheridge shared his core belief that education is the key to the future - and stressed to the students the importance of completing high school and continuing their education at the
community college or university level. In addition, the Congressman gave a quick civics lesson in answering questions from the AVID students about this election year and the processes that take place in selecting delegates, and super delegates.
