flipping thru channels and ended up on jerry springer. they are making folks from the south like a bunch of clay eating jerks. two grown men walking around in dresses. and the whole bunch looking like a bunch of losers. plus a man that is really physically challengedwalking around on hands as he has no legs. get real.
JS is like a freak show now, at best. :lol: I still think most of his "guests" are actors. I'm surprised it's still on... or was that a rerun?
Don't take it personally! No matter where you're from, the people who make it on the news, etc always seem to be the dregs of society! I think anyone who has a brain knows that people like that don't represent the whole of society in an area.
I agree! Years ago our hometown was on the national news for some UFO sightings....................., invariably the newscasters would find the most un-educated, un-washed person they could scrounge up for the news casts. It was awful.
Spoke with JS a couple of years ago He lives in Sarasota area. Was at Tampa Int'l awaiting my flight, as was he. He was heading to Chicago to tape, explaining that they tape on Tues, Wed and Thurs, put the shows in the can, and he's back home Thursday afternoon. Said that his show was designed to attract the bottom 2 % of TV viewers, and that was what his advertisers wanted. 2 % of the US TV watching population is fine enough, he said with a "bankable" smile. Nice guy. Even bought some drinks while waiting for the flights. He even got a laugh when he said that if you show up on his show, by invitation from someone you know, chances are, "It ain't gonna be good for you."
