Johnston county schools are listed on wral but it does not say anything about the college. and I just checked my jcc gmail account and nothing there either.

Wow, I about freaked when I saw this thread.

I showed up in Buffalo, NY this morning and they had a snow brush on the front seat of my rental!!

I just called JCC - cuz it made sense... the man that answered said that it had been discussed before everyone left but at this time it is decided that they will follow the normal schedule. "Unless things change" ... I think I scared him ... he stammered quite a bit!

I think its due to some of the southern JOCO, lower lying areas may be close to flooding, and may have to evacuate?

It's pretty high at the bridge on Covered Bridge Road.

Some of you act like you never go out past your driveways. The roads are flooded. 301 was covered in 3 different areas this morning in just the few miles I had to travel on it. I certainly wouldn't want a bus traveling through it in the dark. JoCo has always delayed or closed early when roads are flooded. I remember them doing it 25 years ago.

^ Listen to the orange . . . she knows what she's talking about!

I told DD to stay home today and not go to her class at JCC. Not worth the risk to me.

Last time it rained this hard, I couldn't get out of my OWN driveway. 42 had standing water on it this morning and it was up to the footbridge near
    West Clayton.
