There is now a web site for Julie Lee, the 5th grade teacher at CES that passed away in Feb., 2008 from brain cancer. Please visit the site to see Julie and her family in happy times. Also, a free concert is planned for Sun., April 26, 2009 at Holland United Methodist Church on Hwy 1010 in Wake Co. The concert will begin at 7:00 pm with refreshments following and a chance to buy CD's from the singer. His name is david m. bailey and he is a 12.5 yr. survivor of a GBM - the type of tumor Julie had. This past Nov. he found out he had another tumor and underwent 2 surgeries to remove the tumor. He played his first performance on Jan. 9 and continues to perform even while undergoing chemo (had his 5th treatment this week). He has an unbelievable way with words and calls himself a hippie singer/songwriter. Mark your calendars to come...you will receive a blessing.

I didn't know Julie, but I know Denton, and Denton Sr, and I swear, everytime I hear the name Julie Lee it brings tears to my eyes.

I am so blessed to be here and have the chance to watch my girls grow.

Wonderful job on the website, and I will do my best to remember the concert and come out.
