Great commercials, much better than someone standing in a parking lot telling you how they are cheaper than that other dealership.

I've been looking for them to post to a friend not near here.

Thay are done by the same add company that did they Geico lizard and caveman spots.

    Love 'em.
The popcorn one is the best... but a REAL BADGER (Salesman) would have told the guy something like "I only speak to people that want to BUY a car" or "Talk to me when you want to buy your next car."

    I'm on my popcorn break.

This was back in 1993. I was at the Oldsmobile dealer in Raleigh. Came in late in the day, as I had worked that day. Saw the car I wanted to drive on the lot. Went to a salesman told him I would like to drive car number "10575 (?)" (number listed on rear view mirror that they match keys to). The salesman said "when do you plan to buy?" I said "in the next month, I am trying out several cars". He said "you are just wasting my time then". I said "I'm not wasting your time" and walked out the door. He came after me, but I just left. I sent a letter to the General Mgr of the dealership, but never heard from them.

About 2 weeks later we bought a Nissan Altima in Sanford. I then sent the general mgr and the salesman (I had his card) a copy of the window sticker, the bill of sale and my previous letter. No response.

I'm amazed at the way car dealers act sometimes. We were looking for a new full sized p/u in 04, made it clear we were buying and not "lookie lou's", but every Ford dealer we went too acted like they were too good to take our money. That's OK though, I LOVE my Dodge! We had a great experience at Hendrick in Cary. Maybe it's because our salesperson was a female?? She's moved away, but I would have definitely bought from her again.

I saw the one where it was a woman buying the vehicle. The badger said "no reason to look under the hood" and proceeded to show here the mirror so she could put her make-up on. I'm cracking up just thinking about it.

    agreed

my twin brother works at Johnson. He told me before they debuted the commercials Mr Johnson took all the employees in a bus to a movie theatre in Raleigh-where they spent the next hour watching them all back to back.He said they are all good-they are going to be showing new ones throughout the summer. He said the best part was after all the commercials they showed a 30 minute "making of"-behind the scenes. And your right. The same company made Gecko. This is the first time they did a local dealer-David wined and dined them over a year to finally agree to making them.his advertising budget is more than payroll for alot of dealerships!

You saved yourself from a lot of heartache... I hear those Fords tend to create their own fireworks and the aftermath can be very destructive.

I LOVE those commercials. I laugh my butt off every time they come on. Every once in a while one will tickle my funny bone like that. Another one I always liked was the doritos commercial where the dorito popped that girl in the head. I always go for the corny ones!!

What amazes me is that Johnson Automotive has these commercials yet they have no real web site for the company. They own multiple manufactuerers but the only web site I can find is for Johnson Lexus.
