Effective July 1, 2008, Johnston County Emergency Services will provide emergency medical services to the citizens currently being served by Benson and North Johnston EMS agencies. The goal of this transition is to continue to provide the communities served by these agencies with the best possible emergency medical services. During this transition period, the citizens of these communities will continue to be served with a paramedic level of care. Our goal is to make the necessary changes in such a way that the whole community, especially our emergency service providers, feel a continued identity with our communities and pride in the outstanding service Benson and North Johnston EMS agencies have provided.
