Hmmm, I think I might need to see this movie. Will I can get an education about what my teen's social life is really like?

We saw the preview at the Galaxy, it maybe a great movie for preteens to see so they know just how likely itis that they can get pregnant and just how much their world will change.
By the way the Galaxy is a great theater, great value, great popcorn, coffee, wine and beer.

I almost posted a thread on this. I too just don't know what to think about a movie w/ a pregnant teen. I know it happens. It's just I don't think preteens/teens need something else to emulate if you know what I mean. Mine saw the previews on tv and said "ooh, that would be cool." What?! Cool to be a pregnant teen. I have some children w/ trouble w/ cause and effect thinking. But even if my children had "normal" capabilities, I honestly don't think I could allow them to see it. I know it's a personal preference and to everyone an individual choice. Just think it would be another situation teens would have to think about. There's just something about it. I just don't know. I know I need to see it before I make any more preconceptions than what I have already on here. HOwever, as a mother of preteen/ teen girls, it would be a no for them to see it for sure. Again, these are MY opinions based on MY experiences w/ MY children. Everyone has individual opinions and we need to respect the notion that everyone will react differently to this situation. It is a lot of reponsibility to be a pregnant teen and maybe that is what the movie is trying to convey. If someone actually goes to see it, can they post on here for the rest of us? Woudl be interesting to know more.

Take care and Happy New Year!
