JUSA has a $5.00 try out fee, yes. The money goes to JUSA to off set the cost of renting the field to hold try outs. Since JUSA does not have fields of their own, they have to rent fields out around the county. All children who try out get a number to put on their shirt to identify them during try outs. So when the $5.00 is paid your child will get a number.
