Attention house cleaners: I bought one of these last month and it really does help keep the toilet clean, for weeks! (Now, if ya get doody on the bowl - you do have to scrub that off...) It has a tube that connects to the tube that flows into your toilet bowl, so the cleaner comes out under/around the rim - and it stayed pretty clean for about 3wks. The tablets last approx 3 mths, and the original kit comes with 2 tablets. FYI- have only found these Walmart, sometimes Target.

Thanks. I am always wondering about different items. Think we will try this one out.

How much are these things? Sounds like something I might want to try.

    Septic systems

Any idea how they impact septic systems?

I've been using the Kaboom toilet system for a while now & I LOVE it! It says it's safe for septic systems, and I haven't had any issues.
I've also found them at Lowe's Home Improvement - they run about $10 for the inital kit, if I remember correctly, and then the refills are like $10 for 3. (I think - don't hold me to that!!!)
Anyway, we have terrible stains from hard water in our toilets & this has really helped when nothing else has even come close!
    I highly recommend them also!

How about stuff for the shower? Seems that we still get mold no matter what we use. Looking for something that actually cleans and stops the mold.

They can also be found Bed Bath and Beyond up at White Oak. Bought one to try, worked so well, bought another one for our other bathroom.

I don't waste my time on those things if I have to scrub doody. I don't mind scrubbing the inside of toilet... I want something that teaches males to aim! 8)

Thanks for the tips on where else to find them. As far as price - I think I paid around $8 at Walmart - plus in the box there was a $3 coupon on the purchase of another complete system - so used that on the one I bought for 2nd bathroom at Target (just checked my receipt - it was $7.64, then $3 off that!). There were also coupons for the refill tabs. Luv me some coupons! :)

See, I hate coupons. Give me the money off when I buy the product, don't waste money cutting down trees so I can get something scanned or mail it in. I don't like rebates or coupons. Just give me the dollar amount of the product when I buy it without all that other stuff...seems just too simple to me.
