Katherine Fritsch, the 8 y.o. girl who sings the National Anthem at Hurricanes games, is in a talent contest on the Early Show on CBS. You can vote for her here: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/12/03/earlyshow/series/main2223619.shtml That little girl has an amazing voice.
The games I've been to, usually it's Holly that sings the anthem.. she is one of the Hurricane Squad .. or whatever they call themselves.
The N&O article says she has sung the national anthem at the RBC center 4 times since October, so most of the time it must be someone else. I heard her sing at another event, and was very impressed.
