i thought this was hilarious and posted it for a laugh. No offense to any of you Claymates out there but i did see part of the show Friday when i was at home and he was pretty annoying :lol: Kelly Ripa Says Clay Aiken Acted Inappropriately When He Co-Hosted Her Show Monday , November 20, 2006 NEW YORK — Kelly Ripa's definitely not a Claymate. The talk show host went off on Aiken this morning on "Live With Regis and Kelly," saying "I don't think he was respectful in any way." She says Aiken was hostile toward her when they shared co-hosting duties on Friday's show. She especially took issue with Aiken putting his hands over her mouth during an interview. She says you don't do that, even if it's for a laugh. Regis Philbin says he's shocked the pair didn't hit it off, saying, "In my wildest dreams would I ever think that one day you would have a feud with Clay Aiken."
If I were Kelly and he put his hands over my mouth on my TV show, I'd have bit him...oh wait...maybe catch something if you drew blood...how about kicked him in the groin? Yeah! That's the ticket! Shame on Clay...then again, we knew already he was no 'gentleman' :roll:
That is kinda funny....BUT you MUST admit that although Kelly is sometimes funny, she can be VERY annoying!
I think they should have a B*tch slapping contest on pay per view. I'd drop 75 cents for that, unless there was s string of Mark Jacobsen and the old Crossroads Fords "entertainment".

If I remember right there was a show back when Kelly and Regis first started where she put her hand over Regis mouth when he was speaking. Double standard I may add........... I dont care for Clay much but she is damn annoying to me cherokee

re: You really expected the two girls to get along? C'mon....maybe they were on the same cycle. I was thinking blusbrmr might have meant the "two girls" were CLAY and KELLY. REGIS and KELLY, two of my most favorite people. I don't watch their whole show, but always watch their monologue.

Think of the hosts and the guest hosts. I think this show is like a giant magnet for annoying celebrities. You have the regular hosts:Regis Philbin, Kelly Ripa, and previously Kathy Lee Gifford. Then you have guest hosts like Simon Cowell, Tony Danza, Howie Mandel, Clay Aiken, etc. I think Kelly's problem was that Clay was stealing some of her audience's attention. Remember, she threw in there that he was working the crowd before the show, shaking hands. I think she found herself playing second-fiddle on the air and on her own show and the hand over the mouth thing was the last straw. The problem with almost all of the celebrity types is that it only takes a little while before egos start getting trampled on.
