where can i rent a car for Kiddo? age 18.5 never hit anything. Everything is 21 and over. She just need one until thursday night. I was willing to pay the underage surcharge too. people are mean. and before you say anything - she can't drive mine cause it's a stick.

I used to rent cars from Budget when I was under 21---that was a *few* years ago so I don't know if their policy has changed now. I think the fee was about $20 - $25/day extra.

Um, you may have thought of this, but why don't YOU rent the car? 8) Not that I am telling you to be underhanded or anything......................:mrgreen:
You might watch out for this, if Kido was to be pulled over, even at a random police point (I get in one about once a year in this area of NC) you might be charged a significant amount by the rental place (I have seen this in the fine print of contracts) and she might even get pulled for auto theft.
Actually you might want to call one place and see if they will rent to you and then allow kiddo as being a secondary driver (just trying to keep you honest). I'm just thinking maybe they don't want to rent to someone under 21, but they might not have a problem if under 21 drives the vehicle.
It was just a random thought. I am not suggesting anyone do anything illegal in any way shape or form.
