Has anyone had a birthday party for their child at Kids Clubhouse? If so, what age would you consider it would be for? Their website says they have children from 4-12 but is it too childish for 10-11 year olds? Seems like the best bargain for us with as many kids as we have to invite. Please let me know your opinion!

I've been to several there and I'd say 10-11 is too old.

My daughter had one of her's there. She was turning 6. I think 10-11 is too old. I think that for summer camp that age would have fun but not for a birthday.

somewhere between maybe 4 and 7 or maybe even 8. I've hosted a party there, and I use the term hosted because I had to do everything. All they did was unlock and lock the doors.

At other places they have (teen) hostesses who help with the party, do crafts with the kids, etc for about the same amount of money. My son's birthday party was there and it was fine because he and his friends are all very active.

But, they provide no one to manage the indoor inflatable slide and it can get dangerous very quickly if you have little ones there with older ones. I was fortunate to have a friend there who managed the indoor slide and told the kids the rules and made sure they followed them.

Thanks for all the input! My DH said the same thing, that it was too young for him but I wanted to make sure. Luckily we have found another venue that is better suited. Thanks again!!
