Sonya Kiser, Johnston County Schools Teacher of the Year, has been named a regional finalist in the state Department of Public Instruction's 2006-2007 Wachovia Teacher of the Year program. Mrs. Kiser is an English teacher at North Johnston High School. The 2006-2007 North Central Region Teacher of the Year Selection Committee will conduct interviews and site visits and then make its recommendation. Congratulations and good luck to Sonya Kiser!
