So we're about ready to paint our kitchen. We'd like to paint next weekend. I have been researching paint colors and an accent wall... Does anyone have any ideas for paint colors/accent walls for the kitchen? What have you seen work? alll ideas are welcome!
Our local designer here in Joco has her own paint line. Laurel Lane by Sherwin Williams, and I love all the colors! I'm not really sure how to get them, other than going by her store at 40/42 or going to a Sherwin Williams store. She also has a website, not sure if the colors are on there or not?
Don't laugh...know what I did? I went into my daughter's SIMS 2 game and created a house that looked just like ours. I now use it to try wall and floor coverings, as well as rearrange furniture before actually moving anything! Not only does it allow me to see what it would look like before making changes...it's a blast too! :mrgreen:
This is great , now i know im not the only one who does this ...haha it is fun isn't it ? I love to rearrange my furniture and change my tile and wallpaper ... I used to watch my daughter play Sims and she created all of us and alot of friends , I used to think this is stupid ..But then i had that great idea , Glad to hear you do the same :lol:
It's down off Old Drug Store Rd, on a little side rd. Can't remember the name of it, but it's not too far from the Robin's Nest, right next to a dr's office in a brick building. She's got a sign up, can't miss it.
I think that might be it! there's some plaza near it called Alligator or Crocodile something....:lol: that's my landmark, how I know I'm near it! Anyway, I've been there a bunch now to know where it is, but I do think it's shipwash drive.
Our kitchen is about to be Duke blue, the cupboards, appliances, and trim are all white as well as a microwave stand/cupboard that we have in there, so I think it will work out fabulously! We recently did our living room and dinning room in Aspen. We got all our paint at Home Depot, they have been great!
