I have to pay homage to the Johnston County’s DOT Maintenance department for their quick action. Yesterday I called them to report a damaged stop sign. They had someone out within a couple of hours to put up a new one. I’ve had the same experience with this group in the past. On numerous occasions I’ve called to report stop signs I’ve noticed were missing in the area. In every case, the Maintenance department has taken action & resolved the problem within a couple of hours. In one case, I noticed a stop sign missing while I was on my way to drop my son off at school. I passed the same intersection less than an hour later – and the sign had already been replaced. These folks response times seem unbelievable.
Share the number you called. We have one in our neighborhood that can't be seen cause its twisted sideways.

JoCo DOT fixed the sign on my road that was twisted from the road side mowing crews ding on less than one week. Way to go! Now if they can fill in the deep drop off beside the curve near me.
