If you have enough large trees to take down you could work a deal out with some loggers, there are some hungry grading contractors out there so you should be able to find one fairly reasonable right now...call some of the locals out of phone book or maybe some may pop up here you may find.
Check craigslist there is always and ad there, someone wanting to cut down your trees in exchange for the lumber
Hey Emilie! Maybe some of the other peoples on here who have or are currently building houses can chime in for you. Do you remember Mike Weeks from BNI? That's what he does along with a whole pile of other stuff. I only had his nextel number but when I switched to Alltel his # went by bye. I'll see if I can locate his number for you and call you later today or tomorrow with it.
