Smithfield, NC – Due to recent storm events, the Johnston County Landfill and Landfill Gate Site will be open to receive solid waste on Monday through Saturday from 7:30am to 6:00pm. This extended schedule will be in effect until May 14th. The County Solid Waste Convenience Sites will remain on regular schedule.
