Good morning, all! I'm looking for a nice, clean laundromat with a machine big enough to do a queen size comforter. Is there one near 40/42? Or maybe around the Food Lion on 210? Thanks!

Yeah, I know, I hate laundromats, but the comforter just won't fit in my washing machine. :?

    Worth the Drive

Try Jay's Wash House on East Church Street in Benson. 919-207-4259

Big 50 lb washers are a bit pricey (about $5.00 per load), but it's staffed at all times, and it's the cleanest laundromat I've ever seen.

When I was younger, I used to hit the one behind Snoopy's in Raleigh (forget the name). That was a blast, they always had a good pinball machine and rarely was anyone in the place. I'd start my machines and grab a beer next door @ the quicky-mart, Plop it down on the pinball and go to work.

All laundromats should have some sort of other activity to keep you busy, Makes the time fly.

Don't use the one's in Four Oaks. They are nasty.

There's one smackdab in downtown Clayton, Robertson & Main? Across from TR Lee.

I take mine to the cleaners, so it doesn't get torn all to pieces.
