I'm looking for someone to work on my lawn mower. I did a search on past threads and found Griff's suggested ... but will he take the time to explain to me what he's done to fix it, what *I* have done to kill it, how to better maintain it, etc? I prefer supporting the independent/small business owner because I like having things explained to me so I can learn. I also need the work done fairly quickly, since the grass is a-growin' with all of this lovely rain!
The times i have dealt with Griffs he has been great about that kind of thing - most the time i have gone in for something DH or DS sent me for having no idea what it is and he took the time to explain it to me - great guy to work with and his wife is a sweetheart.
Bought a riding mower from Griff's years ago. It was used. They rebuilt it. Paid a fair price for it, and the hummer ran for years. Good folks. Stand behind their work.
Griffs recently repaired and serviced my rider again. Its 14yrs old now and runs like brand new. This last time I had a different type of problem and he explained everything. His wife picked up and dropped off the mower and was wonderful
