14 year old lawmower finally bit the dust...runs and blade works, but won't move..don't have money to fix or buy a new one..if anyone has a push mower that I can borrow to mow my grass let me know. Pm me! I'm desperate.

And what ever that is, I don't know lol

But, I do know that we couldn't get it to go into gear, so it was stuck in 4th speed ( I really don't know what I'm talking about), it wouldn't go in reverse or neutral ect. Just stuck..now I can move it all around, and the clutch goes down really easy, where before it didn't. I'm thinking the clutch went on it, which is not cheap to fix.
It was jerking around last time I mowed, but it finished..this time it jerked a little and then just stopped moving..the blade still goes and it still runs, just doesn't move.
I'm sure someone saw me pushing it down my driveway this morning lol.

PS, I'm sure most of you figured it out, it's a riding mower. Craftman

could be an old friction drive, could be only a simple adjustment if it is. what model is it and year.

All I know right now cause it's dark outside and I'm not going to go and look, but I know it's like 14 yrs old, and it's a craftman mower.
    Not sure if that helps.
