A lawsuit has been filed against the Johnston County SPCA, demanding the shelter produce records regarding its operations and care of animals. http://www.claytonnewsstar.com/2012/04/24/2021671/johnston-county-spca-is-sued-for.html
I've been following this situation closely since it broke in Feb including attending town council meetings. My opinion is that something is not on the up and up with that shelter, the owner and it's board of directors. I don't understand exactly what Reese Finn's issue is with Steve Biggs regarding "trust". What is there to hide?:?:
Just for clarification for anyone who hasn't followed the story... This is the animal shelter located on Durham St., in Clayton off of Highway 70 near the Dominos Pizza. This is NOT the Johnston County shelter in Smithfield on Brightleaf Blvd. Here are two links for anyone interested in more information regarding the Clayton SPCA http://thesethingsiknow.com/jcspca/main.html and for those who have Facebook, the group of concerned citizens that have brought this to light. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Clayton-SPCA-Discussion-Group/219707701458376
