Seems like a great idea.......until you realize that the Left Lane Bandits (LLB's) NEVER look in their rear-view mirrors. Definitely one of my pet peeves (I really don't have that many....), but how D&MN hard is it to understand that you don't "linger" in the left lane??? It's different if it's stop and go traffic, but as soon as it starts moving again, you need to get your a$$ out of the way. BTW, has anyone else noticed the big white letters painted on the pavement of I-40 West just before the 210 (#319) exit?? It says "LEFT LANE FOR PASSING"...... Wonder why they chose to put it right there- I don't think I've seen this anywhere else in Central NC. IMHO, it should be stapled to some folks forehead in reverse letters. Rig.
and while we are on the subject, since I own the left lane too, how about people who ride side-by-freakin-side and block both lane's of traffic, then when they FINALLY pull over into the right lane THEY SPEED UP? WTH? :roll:
