I saw that this morning on Good Morning America. It is so sad and I hope she is found unharmed. The grandmother seemed really tore up this morning when they showed her on the news. She could hardly talk it was terrible! I couldnt imagine how i would feel.
My DH said the same thing this morning! He said something didnt sound right about that. BUT lets hope not!
And I think they actually said it was propped open with a brick? Only reason I can think is maybe it was too hot in the trailer? But you'd think they'd open the windows or something before you'd go to bed with the door propped open.......... I hope they find her - alive. :?
THe girlfriend was only 17 - and she was sleeping with the five year old and never noticed her get up or heard anyone come in..... something stinks here.

Just watching Nancy Grace and it is said that she was not sleeping in the same bed as the 17 year old girlfriend. Said the girlfriend woke up and found the kitchen light on and the back door open. The girlfriend said she tucked her in and then 5 hours later the little girl was missing. They are talking to the little girls mother right now and she said she was told that the little girl was in the bed with 17 year old and her little brother, all 3 in same bed, then the mother heard that it was just the 17 year old and the little girl in the same bed and then she heard that the little girl and her brother were in the same room and the 17 year old was in another room. What a mess. The girlfriend was shown talking to the press and she tried to sound upset and like she was trying to cry, but no tears. Maybe I am reading something into this but can't help but be reminded of Susan Smith and how she tried to fake crying. I hope that is not the case. Also said that Cayle Anthony's grandfather has joined in the search to find this little girl.
Now one of the reporters said they talked to the father who clarified that Haleigh was in her bed and the little boy and 17 yr old girlfriend were in the same bed. Police are checking the offenders and so far, the ones they have checked with have checked out. The girlfriend has taken 2 polygraphs and is said to be cooperating with police. Someone else (one of Nancy's guest) said she has a lot of questions in regards to the 17 year old girlfriend and questioned what type of activity that might have gone on in the house. Also questioned about the door being propped open. the 911 call asked about the door being locked and the girlfriend on the call said yes the door is always locked.
They are taking the time line back 30 days and the dad and the girlfriend are staying in a TENT near by! What??? Anyway, the cinder block has been sent off to be tested. The more I hear about this, the more I think there is something else going on.

my gut tells me something fishy with the father and girlfriend, the interviews I saw them in are strange at best..
How old is the father? What the heck is he doing with a 17 year old girlfriend? That bothers me to start with. Another one of those cases with a lot of questions.
I agree something is fishy. You know I dont know how I would react if something happened to either of my kids but i have always thought that there is no way i would even be in the right mind to do an interview the next day. thats just how i feel. I may be totally wrong.
