This is what popped up when doing a search for Parks in Johnston County:http://www.infosports.com/p.cgi?t=all&s=NC&c=Johnston The other one is Sunset Memorial Park,the cemetery ;-)
We have traveled this route to my MIL's house for 7-8 years and I have never noticed any signs for this picnic area. Not to say that it is not there, but there is not much on that road in that area. I am going that way tomorrow and I will be sure to look for signs or try to see what I can find! If I don't answer back, I got shot for trespassing.:jester:
