Anyone know what's going on on HWY 50, just north of Don Lee's? On the Left I saw some equipment and a logging truck (bright orange) leaving yesterday. New houses? or just clearing out?
I found something on Johnston County's web site that listed this property as a "preliminarily approved subdivision" in September 2007, called Johnson Forest (page 12 of the link). I have no idea how long they can wait between approval and construction.
I also see they're starting on the neighborhood on Old Drug Store, next to Adams Point, on the other side of the day care. I guess the housing market must be picking up!
