My husband and I moved to the area about 8 months ago and it's about that time where our dogs need their shots. Also, this summer we're going on vacation so we'll need a vet that also does animal boarding. Our big dog is a Thai Bangkaew....rare breed from Thailand. He was mistreated and abused before he was brought over to the US so he does have his issues. He does well with women but not much with men. Anyone have any suggestions on a good vet that really takes care and time with their 4-legged patients? :)

Dr Debbie Basden - she's in the Food Lion Shopping Center at 4042. LOVE HER!

If that's not convenient, then I can recomment Clayton Animal Hospital. Had both my cats there in the last week, saw Dr. Bagley(male) and a female vet yesterday (can't remember her name!). I was expecting a cat rodeo with the one yesterday, and they handled her cranky highness wonderfully.

I second Clayton Animal Hospital. Our dogs see Dr. Bagley or Dr. Beam. The clinic manager, VT is GREAT...Ms. Cindy. Our rabbit sees Dr. Smith.
