I have hens and a rooster has started hanging around the coop. He is from a free range flock that someone abandoned near me. He is beautiful, white with some black markings and not aggressive with the hens or people. I want to keep him but one of my neighbors is complaining and threatening to shoot him. Does anyone know of someone who might take him to blend in with a free range flock?? He roosts in trees and would not handle confinement. I'll try to get a photo of him is anyone is interested. Please!
