I have a dress that's probably 20 year's old that I just love. I'd like to find someone that can take measurements of the dress, make a pattern without taking the dress apart, identifiy the fabric it's made of and then make me 4-5 exactly the same as the original from new fabric. Anyone know of someone that's good and reasonable? Thanks.
Have you tried the Tailor on 42 in Peddllers Village? I don't know that she could do it but I am forever taking in little things and I think she does great work for a reasonable price. Some things she has done immediately at no charge. 919-779-7778
There's a lady who runs a shop in Garner .. she is great & has been there for over 20 years. Name of business is Custom Sew & Thrifty Threads. She is reasonably priced & gets it done in a reasonable amount of time. Give the business a call -- 919-662-8770. She's located on Hwy 50 with easy access to get in and out of the parking lot.
Looking for... Hemostats. I know I can probably find them online somewhere, but I'm hoping to find them for sale locally.
How about Family Medical Supply...I go to the one in Dunn but there is one in Clayton as well... Clayton 924 NC Highway 42 W Clayton, NC 27520 Phone: 919-359-0222
I bought two pair at D i c k s Sporting goods in the fishing section. They went in new tackle boxes with other various lures and gear for my kids for Easter.
i do not recommend Custom Sew... She tried to take me for a dress I had on consignment there. Never contacted, or sent me anything until I raised holy hell about, where was my dress...if not in store, then you sold it..... Finally got a few bucks for it. Much less then I requested the dress sell for. Never again.
Yuck .... I've never dealt with her on consignment issues but her sewing I've done many times & never had issues.
