Found: One Nice Shiny BATES Mens dress shoe, Off Raleigh Road, near WJHS and Middle Creek. Name the size or if it's L or R and I can be yours!!! Strange to find only ONE shoe... No foot.
My mom was walking the beach and found a foot sticking out of the sand. She called 911, and the police came. They looked around and called some other police teams.... the beach was swarming with cops... they were questioning people and my mom was scared to death.... some coroner type guy wearing gloves and all these special tools starts to dig it up.... and it was a Halloween prop!! What a mess! But it is funny now!
Kind of reminds me of a story I once heard about a woman on a bus trying to open the bus window so she can toss her glove on the bus bench next to the one she accidentally left behind. Of couse the whole thing could be due to an amputee not needing the other shoe.
Funny you mentioned this....we were at JMH the other day. There was a VW Beetle parked in the Doctors Parking Only area with a hand sticking out of the trunk. My kids were scared to death!!! I couldn't even tell them what it was I was laughing so damn hard!!! :lol:
My husband is missing a shoe! OMG, was your wife home by herself before you found it. I know you are saying Sanders rd. for the mishap. He says he is sorry and you can have the shoe. Hahahah good one, but no prize, wrong size! I try to pick up the trash in front of our farm and I found this shoe no where near our house. Over the years we have found some very interesting road side stuff. Oh My :shock:
