    Hi Everyone!

    Please help if you can!

This past Thursday afternoon (Jan. 8th) our cat Zoey had a vet appt. at the Cleveland Community Veterinary Hospital on North Shiloh Rd. about noon. When we finished the appt., I was leaving with Zoey in my arms and something spooked her and she jumped out of my arms (I know...I should have had her in a crate...I've been so upset with myself because of that!:banghead:). Several of us tried for a couple of hours to try to catch her...but to no avail. She kept darting from house to house...tree line to tree line...around the area. We lost sight of her after that.

My guess is...she's still in that area somewhere...scared and afraid. Unfortunately, she did not have her collar/nametag on either. Please...please...please...if you see a stray cat anywhere in the Cleveland Community Veterinary Hospital area (North Shiloh, Cleveland Rd., Cornwallis Rd.)...please contact me at 763-9503.

Again..her name is Zoey. She's an adult female...mostly black with dark grey markings...and white tips on her paws.

My 3 young sons are desperate to find her...and I'm sure you can imagine... Daddy is not too popular right now.

    Please Help!

    Thank you!
    Jeff

Going down Cornwallis in a little bit, and again tomorrow morning (via Cleveland School Rd) will keep an eye out for her. Will stick a carrier in my vehicle just in case.

Hope you find her - Claws? Microchip?

Maybe post a flyer in DH Wells Cleveland Emporium just in case someone spots her.

I will look out for her and I have a good friend who lives off Shiloh. I will put out the word. I hope we all out here can assist you in finding her.

I look every time I'm out that way - always scan for critters. No signs of her - has she made it home yet?

With cats you just never know. I hope the kitty comes back safe.

    Possible sad news-

I saw a dead cat on Cornwallis road very close to Cleveland School intersection. Heading towards CES from 42, it is on the right side of the road. Unfortunately, I didn't get a good look because I usually glance away quickly at something like that because it makes me sad and I don't want the kids to notice what I'm looking at. Plus I remembered this post after I drove by, but couldn't remember the description of your cat. (sorry)

I think this cat is a tabby, at quick glance I remember a white belly with stripes. So, I'm really hoping this isn't your cat but thought I'd let you know.

Good luck and hope you find her soon.

    Hey Kidsfly,

I went down Cornwallis and checked on the cat you saw. It was similar to my Zoey...but it wasn't her.

    Thanks again for the info...

    Still hoping,
    Jeff

Whew! I so didn't want to be the bearer of bad news. Sure do hate it for that cat and family though.

I've re-read your description and will keep my eyes open during school drop-off!

    Keeping fingers crossed.

i have been looking and looking every morning on the way to work and every evening on the way back and haven't seen your baby (i live off S.Shiloh) - do you think maybe someone has taken the kitty in, thought it was a runaway or drop off maybe? Maybe put fliers up all around - i did that when my baby went missing.

You could put up signs at the 4-way stop on cornwallis. Like big signs, not just a sheet of paper attached to the stop sign. A lot of people go through there, maybe it will help.

Saw new posts thought there was a happy ending - don't give up hope though - know of cats who were on their own for longer and were reunited with their owners.
