Hi. Our young male all orange tabby got out when we got home from the movies Mothers Day afternoon and he still hasn't come home. My kids are heartbroken with worry (as am I). This is in Twisted Oaks backing up to the newer phase of Island Creek off Josephine. Please PM me if you see him. Thank you!
Thanks to all of you who were keeping an eye out for Oliver. Thanks to Jean S. alerting me, I have just picked up his body all the way over on Cleveland School Road. The storms must have really turned him around, poor baby. He had never left our patio before, let alone climbed over the fence and run all that way. Truly heartbroken but time and prayer will heal.
Oh, no...I'm so sorry! At least you know where he is...I mean that very sincerely. The not knowing would eat me alive. :grouphug:
Thank you everyone for your kind words. I said the same to Jean, that I was lying awake imagining him scared and alone and possibly injured in those heavy rains the last couple of days. The not knowing is the worst so now we know where he is and that he didn't suffer.
When I lived in PA, we lost two cats ... three ran out the door one night to chase another cat they'd heard outside, only one came back ... I STILL wonder what happened to the other two. We looked everywhere and called for 'em, for weeks. Every once in awhile, a neighbor would call us saying they'd seen them ... but we never caught them. I'm still beating my head against the wall, cuz I'm the one who opened the door. It IS better to know ... I'm so sorry for your loss! :grouphug:
I'm so sorry I saw him yesterday afternoon, but wasnt home and didnt get online at all last night, I was going to PM you this morning :grouphug:
Thanks again everyone! Hubby buried him this morning in the thicket of azaleas near where we sit outside in the backyard. (Sniff.)
