Only had my phone for 2weeks and lost it tonight being in a rush. We kept calling it and it would ring then it started going straight to voice mail. So I figured that who ever found it got tired of it ringing and turned it off.

I lost it around 7pm and didn't realize it until 9:30, went back and looked everywhere and couldn't find it. So if someone was going to turn it in, I think they would have called by now. I have home in my contacts.

It was a verizon phone. has anyone had experience with replacing a phone? guess I would have to pay full price for this one. This has been a bad week.

You shouldn't have to pay full price with Verizon if you agree to restart your 2 year contract with them when you purchase the phone. So it would just be like starting over as a new customer or maybe just losing the past 2 weeks if you renewed your contract, right?? If you do have to look at paying full price, I'd check online to find a Verizon phone on ebay or something.

I just purchased a Blackberry Tour this past weekend and the woman warned me not to even leave it sitting out to even throw trash away at a restaurant....they are walking/flying away like crazy she said. Sorry you have to go through the pain in the neck to replace everything.

We had to replace one that was stolen from us. First thing to do is report it to Verizon so they can shut it off so no one makes calls on it. Also doing this makes it so that only YOU can reactivate it, provided you ever get it back.

We had to buy a new phone but didn't have to pay full price. :) Best of luck!

If you have a Blackberry this CellSeeker is a cheap investment for $7.
It has a free 5 day trial.

Thanks everyone, I didn't have to pay full price but $150. It was a NV 2 or 3 I don't even know what it's called or how to spell it. Stupid mistake left it on the hood of my car and didn't realize it until 3hrs later. I did report it missing. I think it fell off in the parking lot and someone picked it up.
