Marcus Lassiter

Not sure if any of you remember. But I had been on a jury case back in May. It was the one concerning Hipolito Hernandez. He was driving drunk and hit and killed Marcus Lassiter.

Hipolito Hernandez was a mulitple DUI offender who had gotten out of the cases due to our court system. One time he even gave his buddies name cause it was on the registration.

THREE HOURS after he hit Marcus Lassiter, Hipolito blew a .21

The case where he gave a false name is being reopened and there is also another pending DUI case he has to stand trial for. but in the case I sat for he is getting 16-20 years in jail before he will be deported back to Mexico.

There isn't a week that goes by that I do not think about that case and what that family had to go through.
