Man Tries To Force His Way Into Jail Smithfield Police have charged a man with attempting to force his way into the Johnston County Jail Sunday. Officers had arrested 35 year-old Erick Lamont Williams of South Sixth Street for failing to appear in court on felony drug charges. While being taken from a patrol car to the entrance to the jail, Williams allegedly kicked a glass door, breaking a seal around the door, and shouting, “I’m here b****, let me in.” Williams was charged with damage to county property. Bail was set at $20,000. How stupid can you be???
