Looking for a good low-cal Marinara sauce. Is there a good store bought one (if there is such a thing)? I like the type where it's mainly diced pieces of tomatoes with spices and herbs and not a heavy sauce. Trying to stick to the diet but want some pasta! By the way, love Dreamfields pasta!

    We like the Classico brand.

Get a can of diced tomatoes, add garlic, italian seasoning and extra basil (fresh if possible.) Done!

I love Dreamfields too. Are you the one that keeps buying it all at Lowe's before I get there? :)

No...we buy it at Food Lion! Can't usually get it at Lowes Foods!

Well, I never made it to the store to get the ingredients to make a marinara sauce tonight. So instead I opened a can of DelMonte Zucchini in tomato sauce and put that over the Dreamfields Penne Pasta and sprinkled a little bit of shredded parmesan cheese. It was wonderful and so low calorie I didn't have to feel guilty! And thanks for the tip on the coupon!
