    Hey there~

    Well, Buddy *may* have been sited in the old 'hood. I've been in touch with someone over there and they're looking. Our contact is sporadic, tho, so it's extremely frustrating!

    sitting down beside frogger - crossing my fingers too.

    ....Long silence....

    (what are we crossing our fingers for again? do I need to say a prayer too?)

    Good luck! I know it would be such a relief to just see him for yourself and know he is okay, but even better to get him back at home where he belongs. :)

    LOL, Kookoo :). Prayers ALWAYS welcome!

    My kitty, Buddy, who will be 6 April Fool's Day. He's been gone since Sept 14th at about 2:30ish a.m. Miss him terribly. Nothing's been right without him. I'm REALLY hoping that kitty is him. Just frustrated that I can't get the exact address of the siting. I'll troop on over there and start to callin'. He'll answer if he's within hearing range. Has a special call that gets his attention every time.

    <heavy sigh>

    <settling back down beside kookoo, crossing everything possible and waiting...>

    edited because I can't spell tonite.

    Hmmm...that's kinda far. He doesn't look like a "very young" cat either. He looks..well..grown.

    His a very light orange tabby. Medium hair, white tip on the tail. Neutered, so nothing swingin' in the breeze ;-).

    Kookoo, we have to get up and move around. My haunches are achey, LMAO :lol: .

    Buddy's birthday was Saturday, he's 6. You know, I've had cats all my life. I really don't understand why I can't let this one go. Why, after 6 months, can't I think about him without my gut wrenching?

    :(

    Because it's the not knowing that haunts you. I've had many cats disappear in my almost 39 years and not knowing what happened to them is, to me, worse than finding them dead. At least if you know they are no longer alive you don't have worry about them anymore. :(

    Hopefully your fella has taken up residence with another family somewhere. Cats are not always faithful to their humans. I've had two leave us for other families in the past 10 years. One I raised from a bottle, literally... his eyes weren't even open when he was found and given to me to save... and then, when he was about 4 years old, he took up with another family in our neighborhood. What a TRAITOR! :lol:

    I'm sorry you're going through this, I know how terrible it is to not know where he is. {{{{{Hugs}}}}}

    Thanks, Ready, for the pep talk.

    I guess the other cats were either put down or were really old and we knew they left to die.

    He's just so spunky. I've about decided to go ahead and do the poster thing in the old 'hood. It's getting warm and he'll be looking for that "perfect spot" to sun in...usually on a porch or deck.

    This is true R2CMK/Frogger. Cats are not the most loyal animals. They will shack up with any old lady offering a can of tuna!
