After living in FL for more than 20 years, I've seen gators everywhere while living there. I almost got attacked by 4 ft. long gator one time. My good friend took me to the best bass fishing place and I use a fishing pole with red/white bobber. As soon as I throw it into the water, the gator on the other side of the lake apparently thought it was a fish splashing. So it went into the water and gulped my bobber. I reel it back, but it got mad so me and my friend ran for our life! We get gator attack report on daily newspaper. Mostly dogs, because people walk their dog and gator jumped on them. Yes, sad that it happened frequently.
